Improved SVG Handling in Opera

This is truly awesome stuff. The latest snapshot of Opera 9.50 allows you to use SVG in img elements and via CSS (demo) as well.

The Mozilla guys are also on this for a while. With some luck we'll see those features in Firefox in a few months, too. Unfortunately it looks like it will be somewhere after the FF3 release. I really hope that they'll hurry a bit with these features.

My semi-evil blending test case also looks better with each new Opera snapshot. It's not as perfect as the Batik rendering yet, but it slowly gets there.

Also blur is more accurate now. Previously there was some small shift, depending on the size of the browser window (if you used the viewBox attribute). I also got a test case for that. Resize the browser window with 9.23 and you can see that the blurred stuff is more or less shifted around (it's clearly visible in the small circles).

Update: SMIL animation doesn't work with the CSS route (yet?), but it does work fine with img elements.
